Art Work :D

Hey I just got this program 3ds Max 2010 and ive been playing around with the meshes from www.trekmeshes.ch and have come up with a pretty cool Prometheus scene.

First one i rendered looked like this:



Then I got more experimental and thew it into Real Draw Pro 4 and did some phaser graphics:



Next I will try to get some torpedo effects in there

Here is another one I did tonight... I think tomorrow I will try to do some battle scenes...

Just did this one this morning for a widescreen

Well looked good (prommie) at fist, the phasers ruin it i would leave it as it was

It was my first attempt at weapons fire, since then ive developed it a bit better...

too much on the nacelle glows.

i almost got blinded by the brightness @_@

I made the planets in the background using planet textures from the Celestia program addons, but they were rendered in 3ds Max with the starry background, then the ship renders on top of that. I hope u guys like it!

Its not a glow its a flash, just before when the ship goes to warp.



Or were u talkin about the JemHadar fighters?

btw nice pics tho tho a owrd of advice if u gonna do a warp glow do not put the glow so close maybe have it zoomed off tho

i redid the planet above with thicker atmosphere testing some settings, i think it came out very nicely

looks nice almost looking like a planet in an ice age only needs ice an a middle part that's not covered by ice


P.S it would look cool if u made a few diff versions of earth

Its actually Oceanic style, and i do have some Ice planets i can render but i need more higher resolution planet textures (4-8k)
